General Considerations

The University will not hold harmless or indemnify a contractor beyond that liability incurred under the Kansas Tort Claims Act (K.S.A. 75-6101 et seq.)

The University's name, seals and/or logos may not be used without written permission. Approval of the Provost's Office is required prior to permitting use of the University's name on a vendor's customer list.

Because the University is an agency of the State of Kansas, it will not agree: to be governed by the laws of another state; to submit to the jurisdiction or venue of the courts of another state; waive its right to jury trial; to submit to binding arbitration; to pay attorney's fees or injunctive relief unless ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction.
